Do I need to sign up to access ConnectWell?

Yes. By completing a registration form, you’ll get a username and password, which will give you secure access to ConnectWell content including worksheets, activities, articles, and other tools to help you with your mental health, or alcohol and other drug challenges.

Why do you need to ask me about my alcohol or drug use during registration?

We tailor your content on ConnectWell so that you get access to the most relevant and valuable resources possible. The information you give us helps us ensure you’re getting clinically approved content that best suits your needs.

What resources are on ConnectWell?

ConnectWell has a variety of tools to help you with your mental health, wellbeing, and alcohol and other drug challenges. You can read articles, watch videos, and complete clinical and wellbeing activities that your Lives Lived Well clinician has assigned to you.

Are your resources clinically approved?

Our resources have been developed by clinical psychologists, and many of our clinical modules are based on some of our mental health programs that are currently delivered in-person across Queensland.

How do I update my details?

Once you're signed in, click on My Settings. There, you’ll be able to update your contact details, email address, password, and notifications.

Is ConnectWell an app I have to download?

No, ConnectWell is a Lives Lived Well website. You can access it like you would any other website, by opening a browser (like Chrome, Safari, or Edge) on your computer, phone or tablet.

How much data does ConnectWell use?

ConnectWell is a free to access service, and contains reading materials, interactive modules, and videos that use different amounts of data. Viewing an article in the Library uses approximately 0.02 MB, and completing a typical module uses approximately 7 MB. As a guide, a typical 30 minute session on ConnectWell that includes completing two modules with videos and reading several articles would use around 50 MB.

How do I give feedback about ConnectWell?

You can send us feedback at any time by emailing the team at connectwell@liveslivedwell.org.au; or Monday-Friday during business hours, you can phone our Contact Team on 1300 727 957.

Can I share my ConnectWell activity or Outcome Measure progress with my clinician at another organisation?

Yes, you can download your ConnectWell activity results and check-in survey results (Outcome Measures) to share with your other treating team members.

To download an overview of what ConnectWell activities you've completed (desktop computer only):

1. Sign in.

2. Navigate to the My Tools page.

3. Right click on an empty spot on the page, then click 'Print'.

4. On the print options that come up, you can choose to either print a paper copy, or if you have the option, save as a PDF file to your computer.

You can also ask us to send you a summary of this information – contact us at connectwell@liveslivedwell.org.au to do this.

To share your check-in survey results with another clinician:

1. After you complete your check-in, you'll get the results sent to your email address.

2. You can simply forward the email to your other treating clinicians, or you can print the email and have a paper copy of your results.

Where do you store my completed activities and worksheets? Who sees them?

We securely store your ConnectWell activity in our database. Lives Lived Well clinical team members have access to your activity, so that they can stay updated on your progress and recommend other activities or treatment pathways. Other Lives Lived Well support team members, such as from our IT and data teams, have access to your ConnectWell activity for the purposes of technical troubleshooting and portal enhancements. Can I chat to my clinician on ConnectWell?

You can leave your clinician a secure message in our My Messages tool, located in your dashboard. Your clinician will get back to you within 2-3 business days. If you need help urgently in an emergency, please call 000 or Lifeline on 13 11 14

How do I report a technical problem with ConnectWell?

Please email us at connectwell@liveslivedwell.org.au with a description of the problem.

Will you tell me if changes are made to ConnectWell?

We will always let you know about changes that impact how you use ConnectWell. We will do this via email, to the email address you gave us when you registered for ConnectWell. There may be times when ConnectWell is unavailable due to scheduled maintenance; we will also give you advanced notice of these planned times via email.
